Boston Middle School Holds 2016 Fifth Grade Orientation

BMS-5th-Orientation-2016Once again, Boston Middle School hosted the annual Fifth Grade Orientation Visits for the LaPorte Elementary Schools. On Tuesday, March 29th, Crichfield students came to call. On Wednesday, March 30th, Riley, Lincoln, and Handley schools came to visit.

The events started out in the Auditorium with a Power Point & Video, and a Question & Answers Session. The visiting students then enjoyed lunch in the Boston Café with their Bruin Tour Guide. The groups then returned to the Auditorium for a Boston music performance by the Boston Band, Choirs, and Orchestra.

The fun continued with the Bruins Scavenger Hunt Tours with their Bruin Tour Guides! Groups had different starting points such as the Library, Principal’s Office, or Lockers. This hunt helped to familiarize the 5th graders with Boston!

The day finished up when the students met back at the front doors of Boston to catch their buses back to their elementary schools, feeling a little more confident about their upcoming school year at Boston Middle School for sixth grade!
