The Boston 8th grade football team lost to Kankakee Valley 20 to 6 at Kiwanis Field Tuesday night. Offensively, Carter Bernth ran the ball well, Blake Cornett filled in nicely as quarterback, and the scoring came from Drayson Nespo on a 40 yard touchdown run.
Defensively, Edgar Villa had 4 tackles, one of which was a touchdown saving tackle at the end of the first half. Jacob Ray added 3 tackles and a fumble recovery. Austin Lowe had 3 tackles and a sack, and Nathan Askegaard had a forced fumble and blocked PAT.
The 8th grade football team plays their final game of the season versus Kesling Wednesday, October 9th under the lights at Kiwanis Field.
