Boston 8th Grade Football Falls to John Young 34-18, 7th Grade Does as Well 36-34

footballThe Boston 8th grade football team lost to John Young 34 to 18 at Mishawaka Tuesday night to fall to one win and three losses on the season. Offensively, Chris Juszkiewicz had a 60 yard touchdown run and a 15 yard touchdown reception from quarterback Tyler Schoff. Scott Cooper added a 25 yard touchdown run near the end of the game. The 8th grade football team plays Michigan City at Kesling Field next week Thursday.

Boston improved its record to 3 wins 1 loss on the season with an exciting victory over John Young. Scoring for Boston was Zion Hurt with a touchdown run and two point conversion, Drayson Nespo also with a touchdown run and two point conversion. Nolan Lorenz had a monster game with two touchdown runs and a touchdown pass to Carter Bernth. Lorenz also completed a two point conversion which proved to be the game winning points. The offensive line played tremendous football all game consisting of Cesar Rosales, Brandon Miller, Zahn Farmer, Alex Kulbacki, Braiden Arnett, and Mason Shreves. Defensively for Boston Alex Kulbacki had two fumble recoveries. Boston’s next game is Tuesday September 25th at Kankakee Valley.
