The Boston Middle School 8th grade football team lost to Portage Willowcreek 32 to 14 at Portage on Thursday night to fall to one win and one loss on the season.
After trailing 24 to 0 at the half, the scoring came in the second half from Blake Cornett, who had 2 40 yard touchdown receptions from quarterback Nolan Lorenz. Edgar Villa added 2 extra point kicks. Blake Cornett recovered an onside kick from Villa.
The 8th grade football team looks to regroup when they play at Plymouth next Wednesday.
