Members of the media are invited to the blessing and open house for the new Franciscan ExpressCare and WorkingWell location at 8345 Wicker Ave. in St. John on Wednesday, May 8.
Fr. Tony Janik, director of spiritual care for Franciscan Health Crown Point, will preside over the blessing at 4PM, followed by the ribbon cutting and open house from 4:30 to 7PM. Patrick Maloney, President/CEO of Franciscan Health Dyer, Hammond and Munster will provide introductory remarks, with closing remarks by Chris DiGiusto, vice president of ambulatory services for Franciscan Alliance.
The new facility will open on Monday, May 13. It replaces the former St. John location at 11355 W. 97th Lane, which closed on April 12. Franciscan ExpressCare provides convenient, fast and complete urgent care for patients with non-life threatening illnesses and conditions.
