Two Marquette Catholic teams were in action on Monday evening. The boys tennis team traveled to New Prairie while the girls soccer team hosted Boone Grove. The boys tennis team won 4-1. They won in 1 singles, 2 singles, 1 doubles and 2 doubles. The boys tennis team returns to action on Thursday, August 29 when they host South Bend Riley at 4:45.
Marquette Catholic Girls Soccer returned to action tonight against Boone Grove. Boone Grove took an early lead but the Blazers never gave up. Sophomore Maggie Mellen placed one over the crossbar late in the first half and Freshman Selena Tinoco just missed the post in the second half. The final score was 4-0. Marquette will travel to LaPorte on Thursday, August 29 at 4:30pm.
