Billinero, an app-based savings account that awards cash prizes in monthly and quarterly drawings to select users, has named Susan Williams of North Judson, Ind., as the monthly winner.
Williams said she began using Billinero as a way to start saving small, in hopes she would be named winner of the prize drawing.
“The app got my attention because it was awarding money to winners just for building their savings accounts, so I thought, ‘why not’?” Williams said. “I’ve been able to build a nice little emergency fund with my Billinero account, and now I have an extra thousand dollars!”
