The members of the Southern Shore Art Association Camera Club will present their fine art photography in the Annual Photography Exhibit during the month of November. This year’s Exhibit will have a color theme where a variety of photographs will focus on the color red. These “SEEING RED” works of art will be judged by Bruce Roberts, PPA member, with the selected winner receiving the Paul Dunne award. Other fine art photography will also be included in the exhibit and will be awarded "People's Choice" certificates.
On the second Saturday, November 15, the “WEARING RED” event will take place. Any visitor stopping by the SSAA wearing red will receive a free ticket for the raffle drawing. SSAACC will be raffling off several prizes. Watch for more details. Those visitors not wearing red can still buy tickets ($1 each) for a chance to win.
This annual Photography Exhibit starts on November 7 with an opening night reception concurring with First Friday festivities in the Uptown Arts District. Meet the photographers during the Opening Reception from 5-8pm (CST). Free refreshments will be available.
The Gallery, located at 724 Franklin Street in Michigan City’s Uptown Arts District, is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 – 5pm (CST). The "SEEING RED" Exhibit will run November 7 through November 30.
