La Porte-based plastic manufacturing company American RENOLIT has welcomed new employees to its team. Focused on building a team dedicated to teamwork and hard work, these new team members are important additions as the company continues to innovate and expand.

Rachelle Hicks, Quality Technician
Quality Technician Rachelle Hicks first heard about a job opportunity with American RENOLIT after other employees explained how it was a great company to work for with a working environment that encourages growth and teamwork. Since starting at American RENOLIT, Hicks has found a welcoming atmosphere in her department.
“Everyone has been so helpful, especially in the quality department,” Hicks said.
As a quality technician, Hicks’s responsibilities include checking samples, testing, and auditing for quality assurance. Her previous experience in the plastic industry has benefited her tremendously as she applies her expertise to production.
“I have other experience in the plastic industry, so the transition to working in American RENOLIT’s quality department has been fairly easy since day one,” Hicks said.
In her spare time, Hicks enjoys spending time with her children at home and shopping any chance she gets.
Lindsey Doperalski, Human Resources Administrator
Human Resources Administrator Lindsey Doperalski has a great deal of experience in her field. Having spent seven years in the field, Doperalski is excited to bring her experience to the American RENOLIT HR team.
“I have over seven years of HR experience in manufacturing,” she said. “I feel that my previous learnings will contribute to our current HR projects and add a different outlook on things in the future.”
Doperalski’s department is small with only three people in it, making it a tight-knit team.
“I primarily will handle employee files, administering benefits, payroll, attendance, and any other day-to-day needs employees may have,” she said.
Doperalski credits American RENOLIT’s clear attention to employee wellbeing for the smooth transition into her job.
“I felt at home immediately,” she said. “The company works with a collaborative state of mind, not just in one individual department, but across the board.”
“In this community, when you hear ‘American RENOLIT,’ great things are always associated with it,” Doperalski continued. “I knew that it’s a stable company that puts their employees first.”
Doperalski can be found exploring nature and hiking with her husband and two sons. She also has taken up running in recent months and looks forward to her next 5K race.
Pamela Tompach, Customer Service Representative/Purchasing
Customer Service Representative Pamela Tompach’s commitment to quality customer service and relationships is an important addition to American RENOLIT as it continues to grow in LaPorte County and beyond.
“I am bringing in additional support for the company,” Tompach said. “As the company continues to grow, we want to ensure excellent customer service and support for customer needs.”
As a customer service representative, Tompach’s duties include managing customer accounts to ensure quality service as well as processing and assisting on purchasing orders.
“I have been looking for my forever home,” she said. “A lot of my coworkers have been here long-term, which is a major plus. I love the work atmosphere and how everyone has been so friendly and helpful.”
“It is a growing company that I am excited to be a part of.”
Tompach is always looking for adventure and has found it in storm chasing. She’s also an avid music lover and fan of the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Indiana University Hoosiers basketball teams.
