American-Licorice-Company-Hosted-an-Operation-Shoebox-Drive-and-Donation-Event-2019Throughout the month of February American Licorice Company hosted an Operation Shoebox drive and donation event. The Operation Shoebox organization collects donated items to be used in care packages that are sent to our active and recently returned military personnel. In an effort to thank and support our troops, the local candy company took it upon themselves to spread their sweet treats and donations around the world.

After a month-long drive to collect items, American Licorice Company associates gathered to pack boxes and write thank you notes to our military personnel in need of support. These were then sent off to the Operation Shoebox organization, located in Belleview Florida, to be sent to troops throughout the nation and the world. Associates donated enough to pack up 50 boxes! One associate volunteer stated, “This is just a feel-good moment. You feel good doing this.”
