The City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department offers three all-day scrapbooking sessions on Saturdays: Winter Blues on Jan. 11, Super Bowl on Feb. 1 and Irish Luck on March 8. Each session runs from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. on the lower level of the Civic Auditorium.
These are bare bones scrapbooking sessions, with no demos or frills. Bring all of your supplies, pictures and tools. Outlets are available, with plenty of table space to work. Bring your own drinks, lunch and snacks. Evening meal provided for $5 extra. During the Feb. 1 session, an all-day ceramics will be offered in the Ceramics Room (same price and time; fee does not include greenware).
The cost is $20 per session or $50 for three sessions. All fund collected support La Porte Park and Recreation Department Ceramics program. Pre-registration required at the Park Office (250 Pine Lake Avenue) or Civic Auditorium Office (1001 Ridge Street).
