Delanie Alcorn of La Porte was recently named to the 2013 All-Duneland Athletic Conference Girls Golf Team. The Slicers finished fith out of eight in the conference standings.
Michigan City did not have a player named to the All-DAC team, placing seventh in conference.
Valparaiso won the conference. The Vikings were lead by Most Valuable Golfer Harley Dubsky, who ent on to win the individual state championship.
