Adopt-A-Beach on September 21st

Adopt-a-Beach-2012-1Help celebrate your love of the Great Lakes and by participating in Adopt-a-Beach.

Volunteers not only remove trash from our shoreline but they also record their findings. The data collected will be used for pollu-tion prevention and clean water education in the region and around the world.

Join us at the Annual Michigan City Beaches and Blueways Cleanup on Saturday, September 21st, 9 am to 12 pm. Please help us clean up Washington Park Beach and Trail Creek in celebration of International Beach Cleanup Day.

  • Volunteers 21 years of age or older are invited to lunch and wine tasting frrom noon to 2 pm. Sponsored by Barefoot Winery
  • Please register and report to the location in which you would like to participate. Registration can be found at www.greatlakesadopt.org.
