A Note from the Michiana Humane Society: Help for Houston Pets

Michiana-Humane-Society-Help-for-Houston-PetsImagine losing your pet in a natural disaster. Nothing would be worse.

Our friends at the Houston SPCA are working to rescue, recover and reunite pets and families after the devastating Hurricane Harvey. They are acting as a hub to distribute food, care items and funding to shelters, rescue organizations and individuals in need.

We will work this weekend to collect funds for the pets in Houston. These are the ways you can help:

  • Click the Houston SPCA logo above to make an online donation.
  • Bring cash or check (payable to the Houston SPCA) to the Michiana Humane Society Friday or Saturday.
  • Stop by the bar at the Outsiders Outside Art Fair party Friday night at Judith Racht Gallery in Harbert, MI. All tips go to Houston.
  • Thanks to the Michiana Humane Society Board of Directors, we will match one-to-one donations received for the Houston SPCA up to $1,000. Please give generously.

Thank you for caring about pets in need.
