A Flowery Show of Appreciation at Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City

employee-appreciation-carnations-2015Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City employees recently showed their appreciation for one another in the form of Valentine’s Day-themed carnations. More than 1,000 carnations were delivered to hospital units on Feb. 13 and sold for $1 each. Employees then gave them to coworkers.

The program, sponsored by the hospital’s Social Recognition Committee, also was intended as a charitable morale-booster, with proceeds donated to the Sacred Heart Food Pantry.

Shown in the foreground, from left, are Mary Jayne Bush, imaging supervisor; Amy Shebel, MRI technologist; Dorie Barnes, support staff supervisor; Sister Cheryl Dazey, regional vice president of mission integration; and Christine Lain, payroll specialist.

Behind them are Shirley Sjoberg, manager of volunteer services; and Greg Arndt, manager of safety, security and telecommunications.
