Judge Tom Alevizos stopped by Elston Middle School on Thursday, November 14, to present a check for $250 to the school's Show Choir, on behalf of the La Porte County Juvenile Advisory Board. The Elston Show Choir performed at the Board's annual Juvenile Symposium on November 1, and has also been invited to perform at the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges annual meeting, which will take place in Chicago in July.
The Juvenile Advisory Board also made a donation to the Safe Harbor Lead and Seed program, which helped create centerpieces for the Juvenile Symposium.
