June 30
Chesterton/Duneland Fireworks on the Lakefront
The Duneland Chamber of Commerce will host the 8th Annual Fireworks on the Lakefront event on Thursday, June 30, 2016. The event will take place at the Indiana Dunes State Park & the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Join the Chamber for food vendors and a spectacular fireworks show. Food vendors will begin selling at 6:00 pm and the fireworks show will begin at 9:15 pm.
Town of Highland 4th of July Festival (Thursday through Sunday)
The Highland Fourth of July Festival kicks off at Main Square Park at 5:00 pm on June 30th with Rides, Music, Food and entertainment!
Lakes of the Four Seasons 50th Anniversary Weekend Celebration (Thursday through Monday)
The Lakes of the Four Seasons 50th Anniversary Weekend Celebration will run from Thursday, June 30th-Monday, July 4th, 2016! There will be a beer garden, great food and drinks, live entertainment, a parade and so much more!
July 1st
Cedar Lake Summerfest (Friday Through Monday)
Enjoy activites for all ages on the shore of Cedar Lake when the town complex transforms into 18 acres of fun during this 4-day festival kicking off at 2:00 pm on July 1st! There will be amusement rides, a beer garden, a bingo tent, NEW zipline, fireworks and more!
Schererville Fireworks Show
This year’s display will be put on by Mad Bomber Fireworks Productions. In addition, there will be a live band performance at the Fireworks. The town is excited to have the band Spoken Four as the main performance. Natalie Yacovazzi, the lead singer of the Chicago-based band, recently auditioned with NBC’s The Voice and coach Adam Levine, the headliner of Maroon 5, hit his buzzer early in her performance. Spoken Four is known for developing astounding music, including a repertoire of songs from the 50s to today’s Top 40. The band will begin its performance at 6:00 pm.
July 2nd
City of Gary Independence Day Parade
The City of Gary Independence Day Parade 2016, celebrating the Indiana Bicentennial, "Celebrating History...Igniting the Future", will take place on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 9:00 am. The parade Route will begin at Broadway, 15th Ave., then to Buffington Park 6th Ave. & Connecticut Street.
Michigan City Star Spangled Bicentennial Parade
The run will start at the northeast corner of Central Park (Pine and Broad) Join us as we celebrate Independence Day, America’s Heroes and Indiana’s Bicentennial in beautiful Michigan City! Lineup begins at 9:00 am CST on Franklin Street from Coolspring Avenue, north to Arthur Street. The parade route will be Franklin Street, beginning at Arthur Street and heading north to Detroit Street. This year’s Patriotic Parade theme is Honoring America’s Heroes.
Highland Fourth of July Twilight Parade
This year's Fourth of July Twilight Parade beigns at 6:30 pm on July 2nd at St. James the Less Catholic Church. The route continues north on Kennedy to Highway Avenue and east along Highway to Main Square Park.

2016 Annual Hebron Fireworks Display
The 2016 Annual Hebron, Indiana Fireworks Display will be on the evening of July 3rd, 2016. The fireworks will be held at Hebron High School and will begin at dusk!

Porter's 2016 Family 4th Fest
Grab the family and head to Hawthorne Park this 4th of July for the Annual Family 4th Fest! Activities throughout the day will include a turtle derby, brick toss contest, family fun games & contests, bounce houses, kiddy rides, food vendors, live music, karaoke, & a beer garden.

Join the residents of Hammond at the Hammond 4th of July at Wolf Lake Pavilion 2016! The event will begin with Patriotic music in the bandshell at 5:30 pm on July 4th, followed by a Naturalization Ceremony, the Bill Porter Orchestra, and fireworks!
2016 Hebron 4th of July Parade
The annual Hebron 4th of July Parade will begin at 10:00am this July 4th, 2016! Parade line-up will be at 8:30 am at the High School, with the parade beginning at 10:00 am. The parade will run from the High School to the Country Square Shopping Center.
Crown Point's 4th of July Parade
The Celebration Committee invites everyone to the 2016 Crown Point July 4th Parade and Fireworks. This year's theme is "Celebrate History, Ignite the Future!" The parade will start at 2:00 pm at Taft Junior High School, and go two miles north to Goldsboro.

The Fireworks Display will begin at dusk on July 4th. Early arrival is recommended. This year the Fireworks show will be choreographed with music!!
Cedar Lake's Summerfest Parade
The parade lineup will begin at 8:00am at Hanover Central High School, 10120 W. 133rd Avenue, Cedar Lake. Pre-judging will begin at 9:00 am. The parade ends at the Cedar Lake Summerfest for fun, music, food and more!
Schererville's 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks at Rohrman Park
A fireworks show will be held at Rohrman Park to celebrate the 4th of July! The show starts at dusk. Those wishing to attend should attempt to come early. Bring chairs, blankets, and snacks.

Portage Independence Day Parade and Festival
Parade lineup starts at 9am, first float out at 11am. Parade stages at Portage Mall, and will head west down Central Avenue to Willowcreek Road, and then will head south to end at Nativity of Our Savior Church parking lot. Festival and Fireworks will be held at Founders Square, starting at 5pm. Food vendors, live music from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, and fireworks at dusk. Parade winners will be announced at 7:15 pm.

Wanatah's 4th of July Fireworks Display and Open Pit Barbeque Dinner 2016
Head to Wanatah on July 9th, 2016 for duck races, BBQ, fireworks and dancing! A joint project between the Chamber of Commerce and the Koselke-Mayfield post of the American Legion in Wanatah, this event features a variety of activities the whole family can enjoy.
