Trick or Treat in Downtown Chesterton
Trick or Treat Downtown will be Friday, October 30 this year. Last year we had roughly 800 participants for the Halloween Event. Don't have a business downtown? Don't miss out! Feel free to set up in the park. Please let us know if you are interested in participating for this awesome, kid friendly event. Call us at 219.926.5513 or email info@dunelandchamber.org.

Portage Trunk or Treat
In addition to Portage's community Trick or Treat hours, which will be Saturday October 31, from 5:00 - 7:0 p.m., the City of Portage, in conjunction with the Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event Friday, October 30, at Founders Square from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Any business or organization who would like to participate may do so for free! All you need to do is fill out an application, decorate either your car or a 10 x 10 booth space (you'll need to provide any tables/tents you may want to use), and bring plenty of store-bought candy or goodies to give away that night! Applications can be found on the City website, or you may pick one up from City Hall. You may also request one by emailing alakie@portage-in.com.  

La Porte County Family YMCA: Halloween Family Fun Night
Join us Friday, October 30, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for a night of spooks and fun at the La Porte Y Branch! Connect with the family by playing fun games, trick-or-treating and dressing up in your best costumes! There will be bingo, open swimming in the Jones Family Pool, games, treats and much more. The fun begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. Games are played in the Shick Gym and open swim in the pool goes from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult and are encouraged to wear a costume. If you wish to swim, make sure to bring your swimsuit and towel. This event is free and open to the entire community! 

Prompt Ambulance Service Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Join us for a Pumpkin Decorating Contest and Trick-or-Treat Activities to raise money for the Salvation Army Food Pantry. Enjoy Halloween fun and showcase a creepy masterpiece at Golden Living Valparaiso on October 30. Trick-or-Treat activities 4pm - 6pm, pumpkins in place at 5:00, judging begins at 5:15 and prizes awarded at 5:30. Please register before October 27 and the first 25 people will receive a Commemorative Halloween Ribbon! Remember your $5 monetary or non-perishable food items donation to compete. Proceeds benefit the Salvation Army Food Pantry.

Fiddlehead Trick or Eat
Something very exciting is going to take place this Halloween at Fiddlehead Restaurant in Michigan City! At Fiddlehead Restaurant, Halloween is all about the kids, as KIDS EAT FREE, all day Saturday, October 31st!

Blue Chip Casino 7th Annual Halloween Party
Get in on the coolest Halloween party in the region! Blue Chip Casino, Hotal and Spa will be hosting its annual Halloween party complete with costume contests, live music, a cash bar, and more!

Whiting Annual Halloween Day Parade
The month may be coming to an end, but the best is yet to come in the City of Whiting. Join us October 31st for Whiting’s annual Historic Downtown Halloween Parade traveling down 119thStreet at 1:00 p.m. Ghosts and ghouls from all over are invited to start the day early, in costume, for extra tricks and treats.

Culver's of Valparaiso: Halloween Party with Scoopie
Come in between 4-8pm in your favorite costume and receive a special Treat from Scoopie. We will have fun games and activities for the kids.

Witches Brew Costume Party
Come join us for a Halloween Party in the Barrel Room!

Rocky Horror Picture Show
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 musical comedy horror film adapted from the popular musical stage play scripted and composed by Richard O'Brien. The film is a tribute to the science fiction and "B" horror movies of the late 1940's through the early 1970s.
