November First Friday Art Walk
The Michigan City Mainstreet Association is pleased to present the First Friday Art Walk in the Uptown Arts District on November 6th, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm. The Art Walk features local merchants hosting an array of artists and entertainment for free enjoyment for visitors, adults, and families alike.

Concert Association of Valparaiso Presents Tango Fusion from the South Shore Orchestra
From time to time every orchestra of worthwhile note showcases its greater talents in the form of a chamber ensemble. It's no wonder that the South Shore Orchestra quickly formed several since it has so many seated, gifted musicians. The sextet performing Tango Fusion is one of those groups--highly talented, experts in their practice, all soloists in their own right.

Methodist Hospitals Fall Community Health Fair
Methodist Hospitals will host their Annual Fall Community Health Fair for members of the Northwest Indiana community. This event will offer free flu shots, health screenings and health information. The Lake County Sheriff’s Department will be one of the exhibitors providing information and distributing gun locks to eligible families. 

Craft and Vendor Show
The Be Thankful Club at the Bonner Senior Center, 5800 Lexington Ave., Portage, is hosting a craft and vendor show on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 am-2 pm. Start your holiday shopping now. Trager Farmhouse Tour
We were so impressed with the details at the beautifully restored Trager Farmhouse in Portage, Indiana that we wanted to share this Portage Township treasure with all of you! Join representatives from the PoCo Muse and Portage Community Historical Society for a free tour on November 7, 2015 at 2p. Meet us at the farmhouse located at 5250 U.S. Hwy 6, and imagine what life was like for early Porter County residents. 

La Pour Brew Fest
La Pour Brew Fest, an end of the season craft beer festival celebrating many local and national breweries with great food, beer and music, is coming on November 7. More information will be released, along with a list of participating breweries. 12 p.m. will be VIP Early Entry while the General Admission will be 1-4 p.m. Tickets are as follows: VIP Tickets $55 each, General Admission $35 each, Designated Driver $10 each. The Brew Fest will be held at the La Porte Civic Auditorium, 1001 Ridge Street in La Porte.

Festival Of Arts & Crafts
We showcase 100 indoor booths of quality handcrafted treasures by artists from 4 states. Furniture, painted windows, wearable art, stained glass, watercolors, painted goose eggs, carved fishing lures, pet items, copper art, hand carved santas, and purses are just a few examples of this quality show. Sat. 9 am - 4 pm / Sun. 10 am - 4 pm $2 admission - 11 & under free - Free parking. Dancing Like the Stars
The Duneland Family YMCA will host the 4th Annual Dancing Like The Stars on Saturday, November 7th at Duneland Falls Banquet Center. Tickets are on sale now at the Y. Purchase tickets in support of your favorite local celebrity or for general admission. This year's event is Gatsby themed, so put on your flapper dresses and zoot suits and join the fun as you watch this year's dancers compete for top honors! 

Imagine Music Concert Series Presents Willie Nile
Willie Nile will be performing at the Memorial Opera House on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 7:30pm as part of the Imagine Music Concert Series. This will be Willie Nile's 4th time performing in the Imagine Music Concert Series, but only his second with his New York City band. Willie has become a fan favorite at the Memorial Opera House and has adopted Valpo as his second "hometown."
