Emma Bailey is hosting her 3rd annual St. Baldrick's Fundraiser and everyone is invited! Emma turns 11 on May 22nd and instead of having a party and getting presents she is throwing a Birthday Bash for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Over the past two years she has raised over $10,000 for the Foundation. Her Birthday Bash will be on May 22nd at the Portage Moose Lodge 6pm-10pm with a $2 admission. La Porte County Family YMCA to host Dancing Like the Stars on May 22, 2015
One large fundraiser right around the corner is the Dancing Like the Stars event. The $65 Tickets including dinner and entire evening of fun are SOLD OUT but their are still $25 General Admission tickets available. Join the Valpo Police K-9 Unit Friday, May 22, 2015 for the Guardians of the Night 5K-9 Run and 1 Mile Dog Walk. The event will take place at Central Park Plaza, Downtown Valparaiso. The run begins at 6 pm and the 1 mile dog walk begins at 6:15 pm.

We are hosting a Block Party on Harding Drive in Lowell, this Saturday, May 23rd, from 3pm - 9pm. We will have a bounce house, face painting, games and a duck pond for the kids. There will be food vendors, a beer garden (provided by Route 2 Brews,) a caricature artist, a band and much more. Goodie bags for the first 50 kids and the debut of the Downtown Events Group Candy Shoppe. Parking is on the east end of Harding at Oakley.
