The Region is in for its spookiest weekend yet! From local trick-or-treating events to costume parades and brew festivals, we have it all in our scariest weekend guide to date.

TRUNK OR TREAT AT THE HARLEY SHOP!

Bring your kids down to a safe, fun place to trick or treat for Halloween. We will have several local businesses set up in our parking lot handing out candy! Come in your best costume and enjoy!

FUSED GLASS II: INTRO TO SLUMPING

Expand on what you’ve learned from Fused Glass by discovering the art of slumping (forming glass in molds). Students can choose from a variety of projects or enjoy open studio time. Fused Glass is a prerequisite.

TRICK OR TREES: HALLOWEEN IN THE RAILWAY GARDEN

Kick off this Halloween celebration with an owl presentation and story telling at 11 am. At noon, check out the winner of the Scarecrow Trail competition at the scarecrow ceremony. See the creepy crawlies that the Traveling World of Reptiles has to offer in an educational, but fun presentation at 1 pm.

2019 HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARADE

The City of Whiting’s Annual Halloween Costume Parade will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2019, Parade lineup is at 12:30pm at 119th & New York, alongside the Chase Bank parking lot.

VISIT THE STAGECOACH INN & PANHANDLE DEPOT MUSEUM

Have you ever visited the Stagecoach Inn or the Panhandle Depot Museum located on Main Street in downtown Hebron? Stop by on the fourth Saturday of each month between 1-4p to see an assortment of wonderful treasures linked to the history of Boone township and the town of Hebron.

Join us for a bat-tastic evening as we invite presenters from Incredible Bats to fly us into BatWeek to learn about the lives and challenges of these winged wonders. They will also introduce us to live fruit bats.

FLAME + FLAIR HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL 2019

Spooky treats lurk around every corner. Ghouls, ghosts, and a menagerie of monsters creep to the Uptown Arts District® for Michigan City Mainstreet Association's (MCMA) Flame + Flair Uptown Halloween Festival. Roam Michigan City's art district for a night of fire dancing, costume contests, haunted halls, and of course, trick-or-treating.
