Alright all you goblins & ghouls... it's time to put your Halloween costumes on and join us at the museum for Halloween games, a craft, goblin grub, and a Halloween parade with Reggy at 4pm! It's going to be SPOOK-tacular!

THE MIDNIGHT GHOSTING TOUR: Old CROWN POINT JAIL

Do YOU have what it takes to brave these ghosts? Are you ready for an experience that you won't forget?

I often get asked "Mike, whats your scariest tour? I wanna SEE something! I want something to happen! I want to experience a ghost! Where can I actually have a great chance to SEE a ghost, feel something touch me or at least hear a ghostly voice from beyond the veil?" My response: The Crown Point Old Jail is a great place for that!

GHOST STORIES!

Join us for this fun program’s 30th year! Another night of fright awaits you in this open-air program at the State Park's Wilson Shelter. Bring a blanket and a friend to hold on to as this program will feature a collection of spooky tales. Two special story sessions will take place. Children ages 7 and under are encouraged to listen to the 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. stories. Stories for ages 8 and up will be from 7-8 p.m.

Come out to the Valparaiso Family YMCA for a night full of frights and free family fun!! With classics like our haunted hallway and haunted pool to new events like our ghost photos you are sure to have a blast! This year our event is free for everyone thanks to the Early Learning Indiana Family Engagement Grant!

FALL COLORS HIKE

If you enjoy the changing colors of the fall, join a ranger for the Fall Colors Hike at historic Bailly Homestead / Chellberg Farm. The hike begins in the Bailly Homestead and Chellberg Farm parking lot. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
