In October of 2014 the Lead and Seed Club held its annual Red Ribbon Week to encourage students to say no to drugs. Throughout this week the Lead and Seed Club spread awareness about drugs and held a fundraiser.
The Lead and Seed Club decided to donate the money that they raised, as a way to give back to the community. On March 16, 2015, Lead and Seed met with members from the Salvation Army to present them with the money that was raised.
