I've been thrilled to see the community's response to our Day One Training for the Bridges Out of Poverty program that we're holding Next Friday, March 13th. To date, we've had dozens sign up, but there is still room for several more - and I'm hoping that if you haven't yet, you'll take the time to register...along with a few friends or colleagues, if you can!
Bridges Out of Poverty is a proven, powerful training program that assists employers, community organizations, social-service agencies and individuals to better understand poverty, while providing powerful tools for change.
For example, you'll learn about the importance of cooperation among and across multiple facets of our community for success with this program. It's quite impressive how they achieved it in Pequea Valley, in Paradise, Pennsylvania.
