Early in November, a woman brought in six mother-less puppies that had been left in a box on her driveway. Though the largest of the six weighed nearly three pounds, their eyes were not yet open. These are going to be large dogs!
Three of our dedicated kennel attendants each took charge of two of the pups. Every morning all six pups come into a warm cage at the shelter so that they can spend the day together. At night, they go home with their caretakers.
Just four weeks later, the largest pup hit ten pounds. They are beginning to eat cereal, but still require puppy formula.
Today, on #GivingTuesday, your online donation to the Michiana Humane Society can make a big difference for an animal like these mother-less pups. Won't you help?
