A Novel Yarn is a gathering of crafters, beginning and experienced. Bring along your latest knitting, crochet, or needlepoint project, or just some needles and yarn and we'll help get you started. Make some new friends, learn a new skill!

Rolling Prairie Readers Group

In this special edition of the Rolling Prairie Readers Group, members will each bring a children's book to share and discuss. Bring a favorite of your own, and come join the fun! For more information, call 219-778-2390.

Page Turners

We will discuss Killing Kennedy by Bill O'Reilly. The title is available to check out ahead of time in regular and large print, on CD and Playaway, and as an e-book. Refreshments that have something to do with the book will be provided by Friends of the Library. People may also bring a lunch if they wish. There is no cost. Everyone is welcome.

Sue Harmon will tell how she found out just what relative it was who was killed by a tiger in the U.S. and how she found out how it happened. Cabin Fever

Is cabin Fever driving you mad? Come hang out at the library after hours! We’ll play games (like Body Body) make crafts, and eat snacks. This program is open to the first 30 teens in grades 6-12 who return a parent signed permission form. Permission forms are available in Youth Services starting on January 1st and must be signed and returned before January 25.
