Over 15 businesses located in Downtown La Porte will be decorating their windows for the holiday season and are ready for some competition. Launching November 22, 2013 and ending December 22, 2013, the 2nd Annual Holiday Storefront Competition brings some healthy competition between the businesses new and old in La Porte’s downtown.
Starting on November 22nd, the community is welcomed to visit the Downtown La Porte Facebook page and Like or comment or share their favorites. The business with the most Facebook feedback will receive a special People’s Choice Award.
Individuals also have the option to vote for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, which will help the secret judges choose the final winners; which will be announced December 23rd. Voters may pick up a judging form with a list of participating businesses at the Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce, 803 Washington Street, in La Porte.
