On Friday, October 4th, 340 Grandparents visited Boston Middle School for the annual Grandparents Day. The Grandparents came from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM.
The afternoon started off with an official welcome from Boston’s School Principal, Mrs. Deb Carter. Following the welcome, Mrs. Jeanette Quinn’s choir classes performed a musical program in the auditorium.
Jonathan Burns and Elisabeth Novak then read their own poems for the Grandparents. Mums and Iced Coffee from Starbucks were raffled off as prizes.
The Grandparents were then dismissed to unite with their grandchildren and enjoy treats. A huge thank you to all that made this event possible!
