Boston Students Take Flight

On April 12th and 15th at Boston Middle School, students in Mr. Aaron Gogel’s 8th grade Math Classes took part in a two-day project called “Take Flight”.

The students designed their own paper airplane, tested it, and then built a common “Rocket Plane” to test.

Students recorded measurements based on length and accuracy. They did data analysis of the two flights including mean, median, mode, and range, and then compared the two results.
