Marquette Baseball Team Defeats Oregon Davis 13-7

Marquette-CatholicThe Marquette Catholic baseball team returned to action Monday night when they traveled to Oregon Davis. The Blazers had took care of business and brought home another victory, winning 13-7. Isaiah Papineau got the win for the Blazers going 5 innings, striking out 10 while giving up 8 hits. Nate Shinn got the save for the Blazers while striking out 2 and walking 1.

Offensively the Blazers were led by junior Tommy Anderson who went 2-5 with 2 RBI. Ambrose Haas went 2-2 with an RBI. Bryce Freels went 2-4 with an RBI. Dan Miller went 2-2 with an RBI. Patrick Cannon went 2-3 with an RBI.

The baseball team returns to action tomorrow (4/30) when they travel to Lake Station. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30.
