Jerry M. Jardine, 73, of Michigan City, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in DeMotte. He was born on December 27, 1951 in LaPorte to James and Dorothy (Wunder) Jardine. Jerry is survived by his brother Leslie (Kathy) Jardine of Dublin, California, his sister Karen (Robert) Mitchell of Valparaiso, his nieces Amanda (Scott) Chambers, Renee Garcia, and his nephew Jason Mitchell. Also surviving him are his stepbrothers Ron and Larry Cota of Michigan City and his long time companion Lolly Perrin of Michigan City. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents James Jardine and Dorothy (Wunder) Cota and his brother Roger Jardine. He is a U.S. Navy veteran. Memberships include the American Legion Post #37 in Michigan City and the Michigan City D.A.V. Jerry was also a retired Union electrician. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 14th at Newhard Funeral Home in Westville. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in Westville Cemetery.
