America’s Crossroads Bowl Returns to Hobart

The stage is set for a 2022 rematch

The Truman State University Bulldogs and Tiffin University Dragons have been selected to participate in the fifth annual NCAA Division II America’s Crossroads Bowl (ACB) on Saturday, Dec. 7, in Hobart, Indiana, representing the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), respectively.

Tiffin University (8-3, G-MAC 7-2) makes their second appearance in the bowl game, while Truman State (7-4, 6-2) returns to the bowl game for the fourth time. It will be a rematch of the 2022 bowl game in which Truman State denied a two-point conversion with 46 seconds left to preserve a 28-27 win over the Dragons.

This Bowl game is one of only two NCAA Division II bowl games sponsored nationally in 2024 and is conducted in partnership with the South Shore Convention & Visitors Authority and the City of Hobart.

“We are thrilled to be hosting this elite college football game for another year with the City of Hobart,” said South Shore CVA President/CEO, Phil Taillon. “We invite all football fans, friends and families to come out and enjoy college-level football and show these student-athletes some great Hoosier cheer and hospitality!”

The festivities will begin Saturday morning with a pre-game party at the Hobart Art Theater in downtown Hobart serving up sliders, pulled pork, brats and more, bloody marys, mimosas and a full-service bar from 9 AM - Noon. All ages are welcome. The game will be played at the Brickyard Stadium at Hobart High School; 2211 East 10th Street. Gates open to the public at 11:45 AM and kickoff is at 1 PM CT local time.

New this year will be a halftime contest, brought to you by Jimmy John’s. Jimmy John’s is excited to give back to the community and is looking for residents of Northwest Indiana to sign up for free to be randomly selected to kick a field goal at halftime and win Jimmy John’s for one year! The contest “Kick it to Win it: Score a Field Goal and Feast on Free Jimmy John’s for a Year!” is brought to you by Northwind Investments, owners of the Jimmy John’s in Hobart, Highland, Merrillville, St. John, Dyer, Schererville and Crown Point (Main Street).

Tickets for the game are $12 for adults, $7 seniors, and $5 for veterans, active military and first responders. Children under 4, any student from an elementary, middle or high school that resides in Indiana and Pop Warner participants will be free with a paid adult. Tickets can be purchased and additional information can be found online by visiting americascrossroadsbowl.com. Tickets will also be sold at the gate.
