Northwest Health – Starke announced their Employees of the Year.
“Our team of caregivers are the heart of Northwest Health – Starke. They provide the high quality, compassionate care that Starke County and neighboring communities have come to expect” said Simon Ratliff, Chief Executive Officer at the hospital. “These three team members have all of the qualities of exceptional professionals and they are an example to the entire family of Northwest Health - Starke employees. We are grateful for all they do.”
The awards were given at a surprise event on June 5. Honored were:
Team Member of the Year
Clarissa Boyd
Registrar, Patient Access
Boyd is described as extremely knowledgeable and personable. Patients rave about her outstanding customer service and her work is fast and consistent. She leads by example, training others and providing excellent guidance for her coworkers. Boyd always has a smile and lends a helping hand or extends compassion at every turn.
Clinical Leader of the Year
Lori Bridegroom, RN
Director of Nursing
An exceptional leader, Bridegroom works with all nursing staff to ensure the hospital remains among the best in terms of patient experience and quality. She works with other leaders to guide day-to-day operations of the hospital, showing her deep dedication to ensuring the community receives high quality care close to home.
Non-clinical Leader of the Year
Cheryl Gross
Director, Patient Access
Gross, is dedicated not only to the organization, but to the patients the hospital serves. On a daily basis, Cheryl leads her team to help community members schedule and get registered for their care in a timely manner. She has served at Northwest Health for 44 years and is responsible for the Patient Access services at Northwest Health Northwest Health – Starke and – La Porte. The passion for her patients and staff that she displays every day is admirable.
