Rufus is a four-year-old Chocolate Lab looking who can't wait to find his forever home. He was rescued from a local shelter by Lakeshore PAWS and was suffering from severe allergies, likely to fleas, at the time. He is feeling much better now that he is almost done with his medication, his hair is growing back, and the swelling has gone down in his face.
Rufus is a gentle, loveable, goofy, playful guy, who would make a great family pet. Rufus gets along with everyone—kids, cats, and other dogs. He is crate-trained and most likely house-trained.
