La Porte VS. Michigan City 2023 Boys Basketball
Published: January 21, 2023The La Porte Slicers came out on top in a Friday night basketball rivalry matchup against the Michigan City Wolves, coming back from a first-half deficit to win 76-73. Senior Ja’meriyon Cross led the Slicers in scoring, putting 19 points on the board. Junior Malik Corley wasn’t far behind, contributing 18 points after going 10-for-10 on free throw attempts. After the win, the Slicers are sitting on a 10-5 record for the season.
The Wolves fall to 10-4. Senior Jamie Hodges led the City effort with 23 points.
