The La Porte High School boys’ soccer team had a bit of a roller coaster week so far this week, shutting out South Bend Clay 7-0 on Monday, then losing to Chesterton 5-0 in return on Wednesday.
In the South Bend Clay game, Josh Aaron and Richard Martinez led the way with two goals each, with Tyler Kuzdas, Brayan Ruiz, and Alberto Salas each scoring one. Salas recorded two assists, with Michael Gazdick, Nick Applegarth, Richard Martinez, Charlie Williams, and Eric Oscarson all recording assists. Carter Huber had one save on the day.
In the next game, the Slicers couldn’t score, but managed five on goal. Carter Huber recorded eight saves. The Slicers’ record is now 9-43 (4-3 DAC) on the year.
