The La Porte High School boys tennis team fell to the Chesterton Trojans on Thursday 3-2, and the JV team also fell 5-1.
For varsity singles Michael Varda won 6-2, 6-0, while Andrew Weber and Josh Cornwell fell 6-1, 6-4 and 6-0, 6-0, respectively. In doubles action, the doubles duo of Miles Droege and Zach Liberatore came away with a 6-0, 6-0 victory, though the team of Zach Cains and Ben Huff fell 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.
