Ivy Tech Community College’s Valparaiso campus recently launched a new series of scholarly presentations called Ivy Talks. The next event will take place Wednesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Ivy Tech campus located at 3100 Ivy Tech Drive, Valparaiso, IN. This month’s featured speaker is Astronomer and Environmental Chemist Jon Aros. He will share findings from his project on the path of totality, also known as the shadow cast upon Earth by the moon during the total solar eclipse in 2017.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation to follow from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. More information about Ivy Talks can be found at ivytech.edu/ivytalks.
